JAKARTA - Shareholders of Angkasa Pura Airports have added the Board of Directors to the Company. The addition of the Board of Directors shall be decided in the General Meeting of Shareholders (AGM) by letter No. SK-155/MBU/08/2017 on the Change of Nomenclature of the Position and Appointment of the Board of Directors of Angkasa Pura Airports. In the letter, SOE Minister Rini Soemarno officially appointed Sardjono Jhonny Tjitrokusumo as Director of International Relations and Business Development at Angkasa Pura Airports.
"With the joining of Sardjono Jhonny Tjitrokusumo as a member of the Board of Directors at Angkasa Pura Airports will certainly have a positive impact where the company is currently focusing on accelerating the construction of new terminal Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang, Syamsudin Noor Airport in Banjarmasin and Yogyakarta International Airport development project in Kulon Progo. Sardjono Jhonny Tjitrokusumo was born in Jakarta; August 5, 1971 has been across the world of aviation in the country. He started his career as a Pilot at Merpati Airlines from 1991 to 2004. From 2006 to 2007 he became Pilot at Qatar Airways. Since 2008 he has been a Senior Pilot on Etihad Airways International Airlines before being appointed as President Director of PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines on May 27, 2010 until May 13, 2012.
