Rudiantara in his speech said that the Top IT & TELCO 2016 is an event that is very relevant to national development policies that encourage the development of the digital economy in Indonesia. The rating on TOP IT & TELCO 2016,was assessed by questionnaires and interviews independently by the jury. Of the judging process is set 41 companies and 14 government agencies were awarded the Top IT & TELCO, 2016.

In this award Angkasa Pura Airports considered successful in terms of implementation of IT & TELCO in the airport sector. Angkasa Pura Airports has implemented a system of information and communication technology (ICT) at all levels. On the Operating System Airport (Airport Operation System) as the core of the system, there are a variety of system implementations such as Information Systems Operations and Commercial (SIOPSKOM), Airport Operation Database (AODB), Flight Information Data System (FIDS), Baggage Handling System (BHS), Cargo Terminal Information system (SITEC), Common Use Control system (CUCs), and Passenger on Ticket system (POTS).

Meanwhile, in the supporting areas such as airport facilities (airport facilities) have also implemented ICT systems such as Building Information System (BIS), Building Automation System (BAS), ERP Plant Maintenance, Material Management ERP and Point of Sales System (POSS). On the other supporting areas such as airport landside parking system has been implemented taxi management system and management system. While in the area of ​​airport safety and security has been implemented CCTV, access control, airport safety and security alarms, and command and control are still being developed.
