The government has updated the Instructions for the Implementation of Domestic Travel by air transportation during the COVID-19 pandemic through the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 82 of 2022 which come into force on August 29 2022. Things that need to be known include :

  • Every domestic traveller is required to use PeduliLindungi application at the departure airport to be shown to the health officer at the destination or arrival airport
  • Comply with health protocols (3M : wearing masks, maintaining distance, avoiding crowds and washing hands with soap or han sanitizer)
  • For flights from or to airports throughout Indonesia must apply the following conditions :
  1. Domestic travelers with the age of 18 years are required to have received the third dose (booster) of vaccination
  2. Domestic travelers with foreigner status who comes from abroad with the age above 18 years are required to have received the second dose of vaccination
  3. Domestic travelers with the age of 6 to 17 years are required to have received the second dose of vaccination
  4. Domestic travelers with the age of 6 to 17 years who comes from abroad are exempt from vaccination provisions
  5. Domestic travelers under the age of 6 years are exempt from vaccination provisions but must be accompanied by a travel companion who have met the covid-19 vaccination requirements
  6. Domestic travelers in special conditions or comorbid diseases that cause travelers to be unable to receive the vaccine are exempt from vaccination provisions, not mandatory to show a negative result of antigen test or RT-PCR. The person concerned is also required to attach a doctor's certificate from a government hospital stating that he has not and/or is unable to take part in the covid-19 vaccination.

Make sure you have read and meet all the flight requirements to be allowed to fly. We also urge prospective airplane passengers to prepare themselves by completing all flight requirements documents, as well as arriving at the airport 3 hours before departure for the convenience and smoothness of the process, and to avoid the accumulation of inspection of travel requirements documents.
